Discover Delfzijl

In the northernmost tip of the Netherlands, you'll almost feel like you're in another world. It's wonderful to be by the sea in our hotel on stilts, but Delfzijl in Groningen has so much more to offer.

How about a boat trip from Eemshaven to the German island of Borkum? Or a bike ride along the Delfzijl-Haren route? During a visit to the Muzeeaquarium Delfzijl, you'll learn all about the Wadden Sea and see a dolmen on display. Naturally, (annual) events are organized, reflecting the city's maritime character. For example, DelfSail or the annual harbor festival where you can admire vintage vessels such as tugboats and naval frigates.
